Adam Novák
Producer of the legendary Les Misérables in 1992 at the Vinohrady Theatre in Prague. Producer and director of concerts, television shows, musical cds of Helena Vondráčková, Marta Kubišová and other leading artists, as well as organizing the Golden Kids Comeback. Producer and translator of the musical Grease, played 1999–2002 and producer of Grease's golden album.
In this time Adam Novák is mostly focused on translating plays and musicals, primarily from American authors. The Musical comedy I Love You, You´re Perfect, Now Change by Jimmy Roberts and Joe DiPietro, Neil Simon's The Dinner Party, Willy Russell's Blood Brothers, Thoroughly Modern Millie, the Pulitzer prize-winning play of Doug Wright - I Am My Own Wife, and Joe DiPietro's Over the River and Through the Woods in Vinohrady Theatre. For Karlin Musical Theatre he translated and composed lyrics for the musicals Jekyll & Hyde, The Producers, for the operetta The Gypsy Princess and he adapted the cult Czech film Lemonade Joe.
Since 2004 he has been the dramaturgist of Karlin Musical Theatre.
